Join Conservation Fisheries, Inc. for a magical evening at Ijams Nature Center to celebrate our first annual Fall Dinner!

This is one of the most exciting time of the year in the hatchery. We’ve got nearly month-old larvae from our early spring spawners, like Leopard Darters and Roanoke Logperch, and most of our other species actively spawning, such as our Boulder Darters and Bluemask Darters.

Our Yellowfin Madtom t-shirt fundraiser has been extended!

Our fundraising goal for Giving Day 2022 is $12,000 which will allow us to purchase the storage shed in preparation for the expansion. For the third year in a row we are fundraising on Giving Tuesday through an event called Big Give Knox. The Big Give is Knoxville's 24-hour online giving campaign designed to raise money and awareness for local non-profit community.

This month we have updates about new hatchery projects, a species we’ve never worked with, several new team members, and exciting outreach events that we’ve been a part of!
