Conservation Fisheries

Educational Outreach

  • We do not currently offer guided snorkeling experiences to the general public.

However, this option may be available for current partners or high school/college-level groups, depending on program goals, fit, and available funding.

  • If you or your organization are interested in touring our facility, please visit our tour request page for more information and to submit a request.

  • Classroom visits introduce students to the importance of native, non-game fish and freshwater conservation through engaging, age-appropriate activities. We aim to spark curiosity and appreciation for these often overlooked species.

    Classroom visit options may include:

    1. Native fish coloring sheets featuring species found in our local rivers (grades K-5).

    2. Habitat-building activity where students create their own aquatic habitat models (grades K-12).

    3. Interactive presentation about native fish and their role in healthy ecosystems (grades 5-12).

  • We offer three types of event tabling setups to fit your event's needs:

    1. Educational Tabling – Includes information about Conservation Fisheries, an activity, and (if near a river or stream) we may include a native fish viewing tank.

    2. Informational Tabling – Features educational materials, handouts, and QR codes linking to our website and social media.

    3. Merchandise Tabling – Includes everything from our informational setup, plus a selection of merch available for sale.
