Stream School

Stream School is a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics or STEM-based event for kids, geared for grades 3rd to 7th, hosted by the Little River Watershed Association! Conservation Fisheries partners with LRWA to give children a chance to experience our streams in a new way.

There are four different stations including Water Quality, Watershed Station, Macroinvertebrates, and everyone's favorite Fish Identification, which includes a snorkel in the river at the end with Conservation Fisheries biologists.

This program is a wonderful way for kids to learn about the concept of a watershed as a whole and what species inhabit our watershed system, all while practicing critical thinking skills in an outdoors, hands-on environment.

This event will be for 20 children, and registration can be found here.
