Threats: No known threats

Native Range: Ohio River basin from w. NY to n. IN and south to n. AL

Spawning Habitat Preferences:  Spring spawners in small creeks with moderate to high flow; lay eggs overabundant, clean gravel

CFI Status: Propagated at CFI from 1999-2001 for propagation protocols as a surrogate species for the Slender Chub. (What do these terms mean?)
