Native Range: Middle Tennessee River drainage from Flint River, n. AL to Buffalo River, s.-cen TN

Spawning Habitat Preferences: Early spring spawners in small streams with moderate flow; they deposit their eggs in vegetation

CFI Status: Propagated at CFI from 2001-2018 to develop propagation protocols. (What do these terms mean?)
