Native Range: Tributaries of Mississippi River to Obion River system, w. TN, to Big Black River system, cen. MS

Spawning Habitat Preferences: Late spring into summer spawners in medium-sized streams with moderate flow; lay clutches of eggs under any available cover objects such as pieces of woody debris

CFI Status: Propagated at CFI in 2000 for propagation protocols. (What do these terms mean?)
